Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Safari Permit Non-Refundable Policy (Official Government Portal)

• We do not sell or book safari permits. Visitors book permits independently in their own name on the official government website (girlion.gujarat.gov.in).
• As per statutory regulations of the Gujarat Forest Department, entry e-permits for Gir Jungle Safari and Devalia Safari Park are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable once issued on the government database.
• In the event of delayed arrival, no-show at the Sinh Sadan gate, or personal travel cancellation, the Forest Department permit fee cannot be refunded or rescheduled.
• Visitor names on the forest permit cannot be altered or substituted under Forest Department rules.

2. Official Forest Department Permit Rules

Permit cancellation and refund eligibility is governed entirely by the official Gujarat Forest Department e-portal (girlion.gujarat.gov.in):

• Gir Jungle Safari & Devalia Safari Park: As per official Forest Department policy, e-permits for Gir Jungle Safari and Devalia Safari Park are non-refundable and non-transferable once issued.
• Other Sanctuaries: For sanctuaries where an online cancellation feature is made available on the government portal, refund eligibility and applicable administrative deductions are determined strictly by the Forest Department at the time of processing.
• Sasan Gir Tourism operates strictly as an independent private travel consultancy; we do not establish, alter, or override statutory government permit refund rules.

3. Resort Stays & Holiday Tour Packages

For hotel, resort, and multi-day tour package bookings, cancellation policies are governed by the individual property's contractual terms and peak season guidelines (such as Diwali, Christmas, New Year & holiday long weekends). Our travel coordinators communicate the specific cancellation window and applicable refund terms for each selected hotel prior to final payment.
