This is NOT an official website of "Gir National Park" or the Gujarat Forest Department. We are an independent private travel agency and tour facilitator specializing in customized Sasan Gir tour packages, luxury jungle resorts, private AC cab transfers, and Saurashtra sightseeing itineraries. We do not sell or book government safari permits. We do not claim to be a government department or an official statutory body of the Government of Gujarat.
1. Non-Affiliation with Government of Gujarat
This portal (sasangirtourism.in) is privately owned, operated, and maintained by an independent private travel agency. It is neither affiliated with, endorsed by, nor operated in partnership with the Forest Department of Gujarat, Gujarat Tourism Development Corporation (TCGL), or the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC). All official logos, government seals, and administrative permits remain the exclusive property of their respective statutory bodies.
2. Forest Department Safari Permits & Route Allocation
- All Gir Jungle Trail and Devalia Safari Park permits are issued directly by the Gujarat Forest Department subject to statutory quotas and real-time government server availability. Visitors wishing to book statutory permits independently without private travel assistance may do so directly via the official portal (girlion.gujarat.gov.in).
- Our role is strictly limited to assisting and facilitating the permit application, coordinating open 4x4 Gypsies, forest drivers, eco-guides allocated by the department at Sinh Sadan, and organizing comfortable hotel stays.
- Safari route numbers (Routes 1 to 13), gypsy vehicles, and naturalists are allocated exclusively by the Forest Department's computerized automated lottery system at the Sinh Sadan gate during reporting. Neither guests nor our agency can pre-select or influence the assigned safari route.
3. Wildlife Sighting Advisory
Gir National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary is a natural, unconfined ecosystem spanning over 1,412 square kilometers. Asiatic lions, leopards, striped hyenas, chital, and other wildlife roam freely in their natural wilderness. Sightings of wildlife cannot be guaranteed on any individual safari drive. Animal sightings depend entirely on animal movements, weather, season, and wild behavior.
4. Package Pricing & Service Charges
Our package and tour tariff quotes are comprehensive. They include resort room accommodation, meal plans, open gypsy vehicle rental, local eco-guide fees, safari permit facilitation assistance, private sanitized cab transfers, and agency coordination charges. All pricing is communicated transparently prior to confirmation.
