Frequently Asked Questions

Essential booking policies, permit rules, and gate reporting guidelines.

Q.How early should I book Sasan Gir Safari permits?

Gujarat Forest Department permits for Gir Jungle Trail open up to 45 days in advance on the forest department e-portal. Since permits are strictly capped per shift, we highly recommend planning 15 to 30 days before your travel date, especially for weekends and holiday seasons.

Q.What documents are required for gate verification at Sasan Gir Reception?

Every traveler must carry the original government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving License) used during the permit reservation. PAN Card is not accepted for forest gate verification.

Q.Can you arrange pick-up and drop transfers from Rajkot or Junagadh?

Yes, absolutely! We provide sanitized private AC cab transfers (Sedans, Ertiga, Innova Crysta, and Tempo Travellers) from Rajkot Airport (160 km), Junagadh Junction (55 km), Keshod Airport (45 km), and Diu Airport (100 km).

Q.What is the maximum capacity of an open 4x4 safari Gypsy?

Each open 4x4 Gypsy vehicle accommodates up to 6 adults and 1 child (under 12 years). As per Gujarat Forest Department regulations, an allotted eco-guide and designated driver accompany every safari vehicle.
