2. 2. Business Identity & Nature of Services
Sasan Gir Tourism is an independent private travel consultancy and tour facilitator based in Surat, Gujarat, India. We specialize in designing customized holiday packages, forest resort stays, and private cab transfers for Gir National Park and Saurashtra destinations. We are an independent commercial entity and are NOT affiliated with, authorized by, or an official statutory branch of the Gujarat Forest Department, Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Ltd (TCGL), or the Government of Gujarat. We do NOT book, sell, or issue safari permits.
3. 3. Booking Facilitation & Agency Service Fees
We do NOT sell, issue, or book safari permits. Safari e-permits for Gir Jungle Safari, Devalia Safari Park, Ambardi, Girnar, and Velavadar are issued exclusively by the Gujarat Forest Department directly to eco-tourists via their official portal: girlion.gujarat.gov.in. Visitors must register and book their own permits under their own name, mobile number, and photo ID. When you book a tour package with us, our quoted fee covers solely: (a) hotel/resort accommodation and meal plan; (b) private commercial vehicle/cab transfers; and (c) itinerary planning and tour coordination services. Official sanctuary permit fees, gypsy charges, and eco-guide fees are paid directly by visitors at the respective government portals or entry checkpoints.
4. 4. Booking Confirmation Process & Payment Terms
Submitting an inquiry form on this website or contacting our support team does NOT constitute a confirmed reservation. A package or hotel booking is considered confirmed ONLY after: (a) accommodation availability is confirmed with the partner property; (b) the agreed advance payment is received; and (c) a written booking voucher is issued by our travel desk. Safari permits must be booked independently by guests on the official government website.
5. 5. Visitor ID Verification & Forest Department Compliance
We never ask for or collect Aadhaar Card or Passport numbers. For sanctuary entry, guests must carry the original photo identification that they used when independently booking their permit on girlion.gujarat.gov.in. Hotels will verify original government ID of all staying guests at the time of check-in as per standard hotel regulations.
6. 6. Wildlife Sightings Advisory
Gir National Park is a protected natural wilderness spanning over 1,412 square kilometers where Asiatic lions, leopards, and other wildlife roam freely. Safari route numbers (Routes 1 to 13) are assigned randomly by the Forest Department's computerized system at the entry gate. Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed on any individual safari drive as animal movements depend on natural instincts, weather, and habitat conditions.
7. 7. Fair Limitation of Liability & Consumer Rights
We take all reasonable professional care to coordinate your resort stays and vehicle transfers smoothly. However, Sasan Gir Tourism shall not be held liable for delays, cancellations, or itinerary disruptions caused by factors beyond our reasonable operational control, including hotel technical failures, sudden sanctuary closures mandated by forest or district authorities, severe weather/flooding, or guest delays. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or limits any statutory consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law.

All original content, text, graphics, and website design on this domain are the intellectual property of Sasan Gir Tourism. All official government trademarks, sanctuary logos, and department seals referenced for identification belong exclusively to their respective statutory bodies. Our website may contain links to external third-party sites; we do not control and are not responsible for the content or practices of external portals.
9. 9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. In the event of any legal dispute arising from our services, the competent courts in Gujarat, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
